In Orient, Taiwanese women translates to "land of women of Taiwanese," Taiwan Taipei (or Taipei) derives its name from the Taiwanese who believed the island to be a sacred shrine. By 1970, Taipei's population quickly grew to 10,000 and today the island boasts a population of more than 65,000.
